Sweet Seeds – Pineapple Fruz
Ripe pineapple, mango, and diesel – tropical, sweet, and yet nicely edgy
Pineapple Fruz by Sweet Seeds has a distinctly tropical focus. The genetics are based on Animal Mints Bx1 × Z Bx1 and were selected and further refined by Sweet Seeds from a US lineage. The result is a feminized, photoperiodic limited edition with a dense flower structure and an exceptionally heavy resin coating.
Aromatically, Pineapple Fruz clearly lives up to its name. Ripe pineapple and mango take center stage, accompanied by fresh citrus notes. Underlying this is a slightly tart, gassy diesel side that prevents the profile from becoming too sweet or one-dimensional.
It is precisely this blend that gives the strain its character. First come tropical fruits, then some acidity, and finally a drier gas undertone. This places Pineapple Fruz somewhere between exotic fruitiness and modern US genetics with greater depth in the background.
Visually, the strain also stands out due to its dense, heavily frosted flowers. The trichome layer can be very pronounced and is one of the features for which Pineapple Fruz is particularly highlighted.
Overall, the plants remain in the medium size range and grow rather vigorously and compactly. With 60% Indica and 40% Sativa, the genetics are slightly indica-dominant without being extremely skewed in one direction.
The flowering period is approximately 8 to 9 weeks. Indoor yields are stated at around 450 to 650 g/m². Outdoors, under suitable conditions, about 500 to 700 g per plant is possible.
Pineapple Fruz is offered as feminized, photoperiodic genetics. The original pack of this limited edition contains 5 seeds.
Those looking for something beyond classic lines from Sweet Seeds will find a distinctly more modern direction with Pineapple Fruz: pineapple, mango, and citrus meet diesel, dense flowers, and plenty of resin. A tropical genetic with a clear signature of its own.
